With an altitude of 5895 metres above sea level, Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa, belongs to one of the world wonders. When in Africa and interested in tackling nature at its best, climbing the Kilimanjaro is a must! we moreover offer climbing trips to attack the more difficult terrained Mt. Meru, soaring at 4484 m.a.s.l.
Safari
You know you're truly alive when on a Safari.
Located directly at the Arusha National Park, we offer safaris to this yet small but wonderful park. Elephants, giraffes, buffalos and zebras grazing in harmony near the lakes where herds of pink flamingos are washing themselves. Fancy a picnic while lost in nature? If yes then your correct by us!

By planning your own safari around Tanzania you can explore more than just the National Parks, and experience first hand the true Tanzanian culture!
Through planning your own safaris we provide you with the following:
- Land Rover 110 or Toyota Land Cruiser with or without a driver depending on preference
- Camping equipment

Conference Facilities
Why not take your work outside, and surround yourself with nature? Meru Mbega Lodge offers enough space for groups planning to have conference meetings of up to 20 people.
On those sunny and cool days, we recommend our spacious, open and peaceful coffee banda surrounded by a beautiful garden. While on those non pleasant rainy days, we recommend our closed of club room.
Relaxing Environment
Located on the peaceful slopes of Mount Meru, Meru Mbega Lodge allows all guests to feel at peace and become one with nature. Here you can unwind all stress by walking through our colorful garden, while listening to the beautiful singing of the birds around.
Interested to see animals from the lodge? With our viewing tower guests have the possibility to look into the Arusha National Park, and on those lucky days you might be able to see elephants, giraffes, monkeys and even buffaloes.
The lodge swimming pool is an ideal place to be after a long safari or on those cool afternoons. It allows guests to ease up tension and think worry free as you exercise and stroke along the water.
Feeling in a competitive manner? Feel free to challenge your partner or family members to a billiard game.
Camping Ground
Meru Mbega Lodge offers a large camp ground to overlanders and guests interested in camping. Camping guests and overlanders will have access to all hotel facilities such as the restaurant, swimming pool, viewing tower, club room, etc...
Our camping ground consists of toilets and warm showers, and even a large banda with covered cooking arrangements for guests who would like to make their own meal, solar lights and free water.
